Yes.

Yes. DODEFAULT() in version 6.0 does not execute the baseclass code unless it is in a direct descendant of the base class. That is why I said that the only reliable way to execute the baseclass code exlicitly is to use the scope resolution operator. Unless, of course, you want the base class code to execute as it usually does ( after the custom code has executed ). In that case, no code is required.
