Hi Colin,

Disabling the write caching for SMARTDRV.EXE seemed to help the file corruption problems ( but not always, of course :-) ).

Also, I'd be careful with using SMARTDRV.EXE. I don't know what the implications are in VFP but in all previous versions of FoxPro I ran into users DBF's getting corrupted when they were using SMARTDRV.
