Hi David,

The final episode was VERY cool -- fitting ending to a great series. Nice touch at the very end: the final words were the same final words as the pilot episode "Caretaker" used -- "Set a course ... for home".

BTW, for whomever it was who asked, Voyager destroyed the Borg sphere in the final sequence with one of their new (Admiral Janeway-supplied) multi-phasic torpedoes as the ship left the sphere.

FWIW, I have faithfully recorded every single episode of Voyager from its inception through last night, on high-quality tapes on their original air date, two episodes to a tape, in sequence. I also have complete star date concordances, original air dates from each season, and syndication schedules for reruns (just in case).

If anyone missed "Endgame" (the final episode) or is looking for a particular episode, contact me directly and make arrangements to send me a blank VHS tape. I'll dub it and return it to you.

I'm now looking forward to "Enterprise" and Scott Bakula in the new series this fall.

K'Plogh!

>You may remember that Voyager premiered during DevCon 1995 in San Diego - The same week that Visual FoxPro premiered. And it just missed concluding during DevCon 2001 in Orlando. Markus - maybe the Voyager Finale should have been considered when selecting the conference date. Somewhere up there with Mother's Day and birthdays! Hey, it could have been a conference event ;-)

>So now that, VFP has officially outlasted Voyager, what did you think of Voyager's final episode? I gave it a thumbs up. Interesting story line, enough twists and complications to keep you thinking, Borg, time travel, action, romance, and they made it home. It was satisfying while keeping the "sappiness" to a minimum. I didn't like the "armor" that made Voyager look like the Batmobile. I did like the final scene of Voyager approaching earth.
