The problem is resolved. I could have sworn that I had upgraded the DLL files on the network server when I upgraded my development machine. But apparently not...

I copied the 10/21/97 version of the VFP 5.0 runtime to the network and the report preview now fills the screen. :-)

Embarassing but I'm glad to find out my mistake over a small issue.
