Or you could turn on file sharing and do a delete from another PC on the network. Would be harder to time than two processes.

Some of the stuff that Windows does automatically really annoys me. For example, I hate it when I go to a slow loading web site and Alt-Tab to another application and Windows keeps bringing IE on top. However, the auto file fix stuff in Win2K is a good idea.
