>I actually did that some last night after my post and this morning before I logged in. Between that and having a co-worker put another set of eyes on it, it gave me the key! It was a problem with Stonefield, not MM or really anything that I did. What happens in Stonefield is as follows:
>
>When you modify the table, it automatically updates the view, and everything LOOKS good visually, however in order for the change to truely take effect in the view, you have to "redefine" the view. The documentation states that the redefinition is supposed to happen automatically if you do the work with Stonefield and that if you do changes outside stonefield, you can use the redefine view to synch everything up. I did all the changes inside, but evidentally, while it did add the fields and make everything look good, it didn't completely redefine the view (which makes me curious as to exactly what redefining actually does). I guess the one lesson I've learned from this is when in doubt, redefine. thanks!
Hi Laurisa,
You should forward your findings to Doug Hennig.
I'll keep my eyes open for this problem for it might byte me (hard) in the future.
Get yourself a copy of eView. I use it along with Stonefield, and sometime ago was toying with hooking the two together, but life keeps interrupting...
Thanks for getting back with your findings!!!!
