thanx Eric. i also had thought of using text boxes but i wanted to do it thru datagrid only ...and its almost done but in my next forms i'm gonna use textboxes however 've one query, the grid is automaticaly handling scrolling for me, now if i use textboxes, will i've to scroll programaticaly in a specified frame ????? if so wud'nt it be full use of the control provided for same ????
