Thanks for the solution using file output stremaed to printer. The solution works.

However, we have to go one mile further.

Let me explain the environment.
1. We have created an application.
2, This should support DMP based text printing as well as Windows based printing.
3. We have created 2 sets of frx file, one under MSDOS Fox and another under VFP 6.0
4. User may select any one of the options, we want to give him all the benifits of Printer Prompt Interface, including multiple copies and selected page.
5. For DMP printing we had installed Generic Text driver.
6. On selecting this printer user was able to get DMP print with proper character controls. This methodology was tested under VFP 5 and WIN 95 about 3 years back.
7. Now, that methodology does not seem to be working.
8. The dmp mode is working fine, but control characters are getting printed as plain '.' (dot) and corresponding character change is not taking place.
