Hi!

Do not mix the customer needs and the project leader. If customer want FPD2.6, its no doubt better to justify customer by pointin him to better version of VFP. When this is requirement from the project leader - well, better find another team in such case. This because project leader is a programmer and consultant in most cases. If he recommends FPD2.6, I doubt it is possible to even know the reson why he want so for the team's programmers. Just because they risk to be kicked out from the team by such questioning.

If you know you're worth more, never work with such team leaders. Just find another good VFP team. there are plenty of them around...

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
