Troble with Baclinks?

I am currently developing an application in VFP 3.0. I created a project with a database, several tables, views, forms, etc, etc,
Everything works just fine in VFP.
After I compile the application, create distribution disks, and install it in another machine (any machine), then the problems start.
When I run tha app and it tries to load the 1st table, I get a msg saying that the the table cannot link to the owning database because of 'duplicate or missing fields' and it suggest locating the database, freeing the table or canceling. The first 2 options don't work and the third exits the application...
I checked the database and all dependant tables, views, etc, and there's NO missing or duplicate field. I tried validating the database... to no avail.
Short of freeing all the tables and regreating the database from scratch, I don't see what else I can do...
Can anybody give me some advice?

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks
