Pete,
Your boss is wrong. We have used PostalSoft's Desktop Mailer product for several years. We use VFP 6.0 and always use native DBFs (not FOX2X files). The one caution I have is that the CDX files that Desktop Mailer creates are not recognized by VFP. If you run into specific issues or problems, feel free to contact me for help.
