We experienced a problem with importing into our Production Oracle server from a file exported from Personal Oracle. What I found out was the EXP.EXE in PO was bad. I copied either the EXP8.EXE or EXP.EXE file from the server installation Bin folder to my PO Bin folder and used that to do the PO exports. This fixed the problem.

I recommend experimenting with the different EXP.EXE versions but put a copy of your original EXP.EXE files in a backup folder before starting.

Also remember, you are probably exporting under PO with DBA privs which should export all objects including triggers, SPs, etc. So you you need to do the same when importing -- connect as a DBA at the beginning of the import.
