As far as your app is concerned the touch screen will cause normal mouse events. It should have a mouse driver that it installs. The only consideration that you need to keep in mind is that the resolution of a person's finger is not as accurate as a mouse, so your touch items need to be bigger and not spaced too closely together.

However to be honest I do not know if the touch screen is something that would act as the mouse events of conventional programming (for example if someone selects an option one the screen is that the same as mouse click event) or if you have to code differently to deal with the touch screen. Is that functionality built into the hardware or is it software driven.
