how does microsoft use html inside their desktop apps..
ex.
in outlook 2000, when i clik the 'outlook today' button,
it opens an html page..
and when i use spy++, it tells me that it uses Internet Explorer_Server.

does ms create an temporary html file, then have the IE_server point to this temporary file?

and in windows me, i also noticed that the help/support app, uses ie_server too
but this time it can take input (search), how can an html page interact with vb?

thanx
