Don't know if it's a framework issue but more sounds like the report alias and current alias are not the same. Are report fields aliased and pointing to a table/cursor not the current one and current table/cursor has 3 recs ?
Does report have a table in DE with 3 recs but report fields are aliased to point some other table ?
