Hi!
Just try it - in the command window type following commands:
OPEN database ?
set database to
OPEN database ?
adatabases(aa)
dispplay memory like 'aa'
And you will see ;)
In VFP6 SP5 it just selects already opened database as a current database withour real re-opening.
HTH.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs
It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
