You stated (if I understood you correctly) that you begin each of your print jobs with ???. Doesn't this cause a page eject of a blank page?

In our experimenting, it was only the first ??? that caused it. In other words, our programs have ??? as the first printed line but the minute the program hits the ??? that's when we get our page eject.

After that first, un-timely page eject, we can use ??? with no further problems whatsoever.

Were you saying that doing a ??? " " skips the initial page eject and leaves the rest of the process in a good state? I'll give it a shot and see if that works. (At this point, I'm willing to try just about anything).
