The middle tier business object deals with native VFP cursors. It handles the translation to ADO or XML for you, if necessary.

It makes writing "black box" code that can be wrapped inside of a transaction nearly impossible. I've run into this more than once while trying to create an object to facilitate collaboration between objects. Too bad.

The next version of MM will be using XML as the data transport mechanism. The architecture will utilize the windows DNA model, much like COM codebook, but with much more flexibility!
