I tried putting the THISFORM.Click in Form Show and in Form Activate, but no luck. The SetFocus works fine when I do two things. I remove screen=off from the config.fpw (which I don't really want to do because I want to hide the main VFP window) and when in conjunction with that set the Form ShowWindow property to 0 - In Screen. Right now I have it set to 2 - As Top Level Form.

Another clue might be that before I click on the form and the cursor starts flashing in the textbox, the window that the form is in (not the main VFP window) has my caption above the form and is grayed-out until I click anywhere on the form, then the gray portion at the top of form turns blue and the SetFocus works.

I also tried putting the SetFocus in the Activate and Show and also tried moving the SetFocus and adding a second THISFORM.Refresh to the other form procedures, but no help. I tried numerous combinations and none worked.

Still trying... but must run down to the main office this afternoon so I won't be back until tonight. Thanks again.
