>Well, I got it. I was working through the stuff and help for CSNW under Control Panel, looking for something that might help. Turns out that NT doesn't support some commands like CAPTURE. Well, even thought the check box for Run User Login Script (or something like it) was unchecked, I went ahead to my login script and cleaned out two capture commands that were there anyway. That did it. I'm able to print out of FPD and the DOS prompt now. Go figure.

Login script will definitly work, but I don't like having my printer set up that way. If I log in on the other side of the campus, my print jobs still go back to my office. Not a big deal to me, because I can change it before I print, but my users will freak. What I would ideally like is to set it up by computer - use the nic address and set up the printers based on that.

I'm rethinking the launcher app. I was looking thru the registry trying to see if the printers that I have set up are specific to my profile or the the computer. Looks like they stick with my profile, which means I'm back to printing on the other side of the campus again. Bummer. I wonder if a default printer for a computer can be set up?? That would probably work.
