It sounds like you're planning to print a short narrow report on a regular 8.5" x 11" sheet and then trim it. If this is the case, how about a rather large, empty page footer? Then you can use the "Start new page if less than" feature of the report writer.


>i need to lay out a report with page being 6"Lx4"W for a small phone/contact book. the report designer only allows a width change, so i will have to regulate the page height by how many lines can be printed. is there any way of telling the report to eject if a certain var it true, for exsample, if 30 lines have been printed on that page.
