I have a project that I have set up and it uses visual source safe. I want add a developer to this project. Am I on the corect track doing the following?

1.) Load VSS onto the new client
2.) Creating a working directory on the client
3.) Map to my PC
4.) Open VSS and use the VSS database and Project on my PC.
5.) Open Fox, tools option and chose VSS as the project manager and add new projects automatically.
6.) Create a new project.
7.) Visual sourcesafe will prompt me for a userid and password.
Do I use the userID and password I set up on my machine under ADMIN for this user?
The documentation says to just join the sourcesafe, but every time I do this it does not work.

So can anyone help me with rest.
