Hi!

Strange. I suggest you can use the MOUSE ... CLICK command to force mouse-clicking on the form, DOEVENTS, and THAN the setfocus call.

HTH.

>I have a login form. In the form init I have THISFORM.txtUserName.SetFocus which used to work, until I put screen=off in the config.fpw file. Now the SetFocus only works after I click the mouse anywhere on the form. Then, I get the flashing cursor in the UserName textbox. Before I put screen=off, everything worked properly.

>How can I fix it? I tried THISFORM.Click and some other work arounds, but no help. Thanks for the help.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
