i'm trying to get information on the where clause for a data block.

where_clause_v := GET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('CANS_T',DEFAULT_WHERE);

data block is fine, using the default query builder works and returns a valid dataset, but the where clause doesn't exist (as far as the debugger is concerned). any ideas?
