That depends on what type of internet connection the offices are using, in order to determine the best solution.

As you can imagine, there are many ways to tackle this, but this is just my opinion, attemping to sync databases every hour, may require exclusive access -for reindexing of one or more of the dbf's for at least the sync time, thus making it an administrative headache to get the users out of the application in the middle of the day, just to update records... then back in. Then the process of setting up automatic file extracts, of updated data, sending via automatic ftp - or email, the datafile... writing a checking utility to see when a new datafile is avail to be merged into the other one....and so on.

Other options, I can think of, is one, set up a file share, on a network server, that all the users can read live data, right from the internet, (that depends on your own network security - vpn's etc) but it is doable.

Citrix - Windows Terminal Server solution. that way, the remote users are using live data, no syncing necessary.

There are I am sure other solutions,.. These just come to mind.

In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
