BUG: Extra Spaces Added to Fields When Updating MS Access Table
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q196/7/11.ASPI've been told they may or may not be fixing it in VFP7. I would up adjusting some field sizes. Others, I just had to deal with.
