Ordinarily, I'd agree with you but:

loColumn.DynamicFontBold = "'IIF(THIS.PARENT.gnRecNo = RECNO THIS.PARENT.RecordSource), .T., .F.)'"

While this code doesn't die (unlike other variations I've tried), it doesn't cause the row to highlight either. Soooo, I'm going to try to go back to base causes.

I _still_ want to find out what in VFP tells the .RecordMark where to put itself.
