I used the Execute SQL Task as Mike suggested in coordination with your suggestion concerning the xp_cmdshell. I use the following syntax: master..xp_cmdshell 'dtsrun /N DTSRptInvReorder2B_CreateBillingTable'. It passes the parse and run successfully, but really under the scenes is not running the dts package I specify. I also used the /~N switch, with the same results.
