It is like notepad, but can contain large files, and have several up. You can put various things like html and VFP into side panels so that you can drag them on the screen. It is shareware. While I am not sure I can write a full explanation, go take a look at http://www.editplus.com/ the screens make it pretty plain. One item is that it also has a spell checker.
