If you try to find a place to change this in options or foxuser or other places, it next to impossible. Maybe I missed the boat on this one, but here's how you can change the background to a picture whenever you run vfp. Remember, if you have vfp 5 or ealier, you can only use bitmaps.

>1.> Create a new program that contains the following line of code:

> _Screen.Picture = "C:\Windows\whatever.jpg"

>2.> Save this file in the folder that contains the vfp.exe file.
>3.> Go to the properties of your vfp icon. Whether it be in the Start Menu or an icon on your desktop.

>4.> In the command line textbox....add the name of your program to the end of the command line.

>5.> You're Finished!

>Open vfp and see what it looks like.
