I have a table that has three fields and one is numeric. I want to copy the fields type sdf but I want to padl() the numeric field with one zero. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to add a character field and replace the numeric field over and then copy.

tried:
copy fields padl((str(chargecode)),9,"0"),... to file type sdf.

Any ideas?
