I find that iif conditional statements are often misused. Think of the advantage we have over Visual Basic, when using iif. Visual Basic will first evaluate the left side, then the right side and then give the correct answer. So you could see interesting effects until the final answer is evaluated. Visual FoxPro just fires the correct answer – more to the point and another case where VFP is faster than VB.
