Hmm, interesting. Is all data access happening from a single exe? How complex is the routine that inserts the data? Again, it would help if you could come up with a simple, reproducible scenario where ADO was failing on a fast machine.

There are _lots_ of people (myself included) using ADO on machines with much faster processors than 933 without problems.
