Do you access Visual Source Safe through VFP, or do you access Source Safe as a seperate application? In two different shops we ran it different ways. The first we used Source Safe within VFP and had problems off and on. But now, we use it seperate (all files are checked in/out through a Source Safe interface). If you are using it within VFP, you may want to look at any user rights within the Source Safe project.
