Thank for all your comments and recommendation.
Yes, I know that MS Sql work fine with VFP, but
my application might be standalone without any connection
to the server at all, depending on the user requirement.

Hence, I looking for another database file such as
Btrieve, Access, Pervasive SQL, filemaker pro to
overcome the dbf file format problem of size file
and corruption.
