BTW Dirk Lesko has updated his Funcky library and made it a COM/DLL. It has hundreds of functions for everything from string parsing, numeric and string conversions, mutex, semaphore, encryption, compression, reading and writing to the registry, finding printers, monitoring directories and setting up a shared memory space between applications. I am beginning to use some of the functions in my code. Somtimes one function in the right place can save hours of coding. You can download a trial from http://www.Funcky.com The help has a program sample and the correct FoxPro syntax for using each of the functions. There is no specific FoxPro download but the Dbase download has worked well for me.

>>>>>Yup. Positive. I remember going to a meeting at the offices of dlesko, the company that made funcky. Dirk Lesko was talking about what is OOP and compared it to the procedural code we were used to developing.
