many thanks for your quick reply. I greatly appreciate the third logical parameter in Reindex(), forcing SDT to rebuild the indexes from the metadata alone, rather than going through the database. Are you planning at any time in the future to extend the functionality of Update() in the same way, to allow changes like field additions, deletions, or changes like field length, etc. to be propagated to a database, based solely on the metadata?
