There is another scanning software company that you may not be aware of:

CARDIFF (with Teleform scanning software). 1-800-659-8755.

You do have to define your template document (with they call a FORM) with their software.
This FORM is saved inside TELEFORM Software. You can then scan-in large numbers of
hand-completed forms and retrieve the information from your sheets.
The output can go directly into your DBF which you define.

Their software is much more fexible than SCANTRON. The basic Teleform Software Package
is approx. $1,500. Unlike, Scantron, you can use inexpensive image scanners to read in your
forms. Teleform allows you to read BUBBLES at a 99.99% accuracy or constrained hand writing
at 80% accurancy.
