It is easy to use. At first it is a PITA to remember that you must checkout a file (or a set of files for a form, etc.) before working on it. But once you get used to it, it is great as a backup as you can revert to any previous version of your file(s). Just make sure you write decent descriptions of what was done before you check them back in so you can understand what each version does later on.

Once you get proficient on the basics, you can learn more advanced features like labelling, pinning, share/branch...
