>I am seeing some inconsistency in how dates are handled by text boxes when SET CENTURY ON and SET CENTURY TO 20 are used. In all cases, if the year portion of the date is omitted it defaults to the current year as expected. However, if a two-digit year is entered, on some forms it defaults properly, but on others (at least one that I know of) it defaults to the PRIOR CENTURY. For the life of me, I can't see what I'm doing differently from one form to another. Am I missing something, or is this just a bug in VFP? (I'm still using version 5.0a.)

Chris,
set century .. trollover ..
setting is scoped to current data session. Probably form is using private datasession. Fix in form.load or DE.beforeopentables
