Yep, it's just experience, and applies to W2K-only (as far as I know).

However, if it's hardware-related (we have this at hand ourselves momentarily nothing to do with WTS), it looks like the only thing to do is replace all hubs, swithches etc. Note : I do not believe too much in NIC's; somehow this never genmerates this error to my experience.
If you say : unstable, I'd rather guess it's hardware instead of licencies. So, can you specify instable ?
