>Here's a newbie question. I have created a new database on our server as a testing area. I would like to copy all the tables from the 'live' database to this test area. Can't figure out how to do it. The data export feature seems to want to translate the data into something else to export entirely from the system. I just want to make a copy for testing within the sql server.

From the "Enterprise Manager", Right-Click the table you are interested to, select "All Tasks" and then "Export Data". In the "Choose Destination" screen, select the "Microsoft OLEDEB Provider for SQL Server" then your destination server and the destination database.
