>12 console sessions?! I always disabled everyone but the first 4. The customers got in a lot of trouble with that many. I instructed them to use the first 2 (or up to 4) to have them always open and ready with AP/AR/GL, etc. But I was always afraid they will turn the thing off when they saw they logged out, forgetting the others open sessions.

This guy was an exception. He bounced between the sessions like it was the most natural thing in the world. And as far as I know, he never "forgot" he had additional sessions open. We had a couple of other customers that even using a terminal was far too dangerous, let alone the console. < g >

>>Hey, no argument there. As a matter of fact, it was pretty damn impressive. We had a site running 25 terminals on a 486/33 with 16MB, most of them running SBT. We had another one with only 4 terminals, but the owner used to run 12 (!!!) console sessions, with about 10 of them running SBT, and that 386/16 machine only had 6MB.

>>And don't worry, I wouldn't purposely touch any of that code again if I can help it. < g >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
