>>I've finally entered the 21st Century. This weekend I've retired my main home PC, a Pentium II, 133 with 32 MB RAM and a 20 Gig drive and Windows 98. I now have a 1.2 Gig Athlon, 512MB RAM, DVD, 40 Gig HD, and Win2K Advanced Server. Now I'm trying to use all the power!

>Whoah, sweet. I am still on an AMD K6-2 400mHz with 64 MB RAM. A little bit pokey for Office XP and Windows 2000. I am tempted to upgrade now, but perhaps I'll wait for Windows XP to be releases then upgrade.
Well, I could barely run the stuff I was running...forget about the new stuff. As for XP, I'm ready when it's released. I have a place locally that I get hardware wholesale. I did not get a new monitor, mouse, or keyboard. Total cost of everything was about $900 US.
