We have experianced some strange problems in our system over the past few weeks. Thinks like records that were written from a cursor to a table being in reverse order but only once in about 50 or so writes or tables not getting updated properly. The problems seem more likely to occur on low end, no name PCs. The problem started with the last update we sent out. The strange part is the areas of the program we are having problems in have not been changed in some time. We did make changes to some table structures. To change the structore of a table our update program removes the table from the database, changes the structure and then adds it back to the DBC. For the last year this has worked with no problems over a number of updates.
Is it possible that the DBC is causing some problems with table updates? I ran validate database and it showed no errors.
Thanks in advance,
John.
