We've run into some problems on newer machines, but it's related to the higher speed busses, and multiprocessor systems, coming out rather than microprocessor speed. The FoxStart utility handles these issues fine, though you may need to fine tune the invocation. (We've found, on multiprocessor systems, that 2 nested invocations works).
