To all (Especially the Microsoft Guys),

I am trying to use the ActiveX control in Map Point 2002. But when I attempt to generate a new map I get "OLE ERROR 0x80020006 UNKOWN NAME" every time. I looked up on the Microsoft KB and found with other products it's a problem with FoxPro, and usually the resolution is creating a method/procedure that calls the ActiveX function and returns a string. I'm guessing this is something that I'm doing wrong and not a problem with Map Point. I can use OLE Automation to work if I call Map Point software directly. Below is the syntax.

This obviously works fine
loApp = ThisForm.OleControl1

...but I get the error after the next line
loMap = loApp.NewMap(1)
