Wow, that would be kinda handy. For my purposes here, all the new machines coming in are ghosted from a known good copy, all VFP run times are just fine. The script you already posted works great, all I need to do is have it copy the exe local the first time, then run. As far as getting past the problem of registering activex controls and the like, we have a little routine (I think it might have been grabbed off of UT as well) we put in the main program that checks if it is installed on the local machine, if not, copy it over and regsrvr it. I like what you have here though, it looks pretty complete. Are you going to put it into production? ( with Gonz, or does Uncle Bill have him pretty tied up?)
