How did you change it? Have you tried with?
use MyDBC
DBSetProp( 'rv_MyView.FieldWithProblem', 'Field', 'DataType', "C(32)")

>i have a VFP 6.0 remote view accessing a SQL server 2000 table. In this table i have several fields defined as char 32. When i view the properties in the remote view some of my char 32 fields remained unchanged however some of them have been redefined as char 20. If I change them to char 32 it doesnt save. It goes back to char 20.
