Well, if I wasn't doing this I'd be back practicing Orthopaedic Surgery.
Past MVP? Yes, I received my nice MVP clock and a free MSDN for a year in 1996. In those days I used to wander around giving advice on the Compuserve forums sponsored by MS. Then all that changed, MS moved to its own newsgroups which i couldn't get to across the firewall, and then at about that time we bought the hype and took the company to Java... it wasn't till 1999 that we were really back in the VFP fold.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
